Bangla QR is the uniform digital payment method that enables payment for purchase of goods and services through wallet based banking applications, mobile financial service and payment service providers by scanning QR code at merchant outlet. Bangla QR code is a key component of the Cashless Bangladesh initiative, is empowering micro, small and medium-sized business entities, and also becoming more and more popular to the consumer’s level. Pubali Bank has started QR Code deployment to Merchant point from July-2023 and continuing its’ operation nationwide where Pubali Bank PI apps as well as other Bank Apps and MFS users can make Merchant Payment through Pubali Bank Bangla QR. The maximum transaction limit is ten lac taka per month for Bnagla QR Retail/Micro Merchants.
