Merchant POS: POS based transaction is a system that enables customers to make payments against shopping of goods and services by swiping/inserting/Near Field Communication (NFC) of the cards through an electronic card reader at the store/business point. It is a process of hassle-free shopping and bill payments for customers without carrying cash with them. Pubali Bank PLC. started POS Acquiring business from March-2023 and since then it has been continuing. Our vision is to spread our POS machine to all eligible stores/outlets throughout the country.
Branch POS: Branch POS terminals help customers to perform chequeless transactions for cash withdraw at branch premises by cards on the POS machine.

  • Required Common documents for all category:
    1. To have a Bank account (Current/SND) with Pubali Bank PLC. *
    2. Merchant outlet should have Card usage area.
    3. A copy of valid (up-to-date) Trade License. *
    4. A copy of National ID Card of the Signatory. *
    5. Mobile Number & e-mail Address. *
    6. A copy of Passport Size Photograph of the Signatory. *
    7. A copy of TIN/e-TIN Certificate of the Owner.
    8. Business Visiting Card of the authorized person.

Considering the business/organization category, the following documents will be required in addition to the common documents.

  • Partnership Concern:
    1. Partnership Resolution (if needed).
    2. Copy of Partnership deed.
  • Public/Private Companies:
    1. Board Resolution.
    2. Memorandum & Articles of Association.
    3. Certificate of Incorporation.
    4. Form XII.
  • NGO & Co-Operative Society:
    1. Certificate of Registration. *
    2. List of Executive body.
    3. Certificate of NGO Bureau / Other regulatory authority (if any).
    4. Board Resolution for authorized person to operate banking/ financial activities. *
    5. Memorandum & Articles of Association. *
  • Club/School/Association/Trust/Charity Organizations:
    1. Certificate of Registration. *
    2. List of Executive body.
    3. Copy of By-Laws / Constitution.
    4. Board Resolution for authorized person to operate banking/ financial activities. *
